Underground raises strong martial artists by fostering work ethic through an established curriculum. We have a 12 week beginner’s Jiu-Jitsu program to teach base techniques for any individual. This series of BJJ classes emphasizes strong fundamentals that are applicable to various situations. Underground Jiu-Jitsu’s attention to detail and individualized learning experience is unique. Our History:
Underground Jiu-Jitsu opened its doors in October 2021, born from the desire to create a Jiu-Jitsu school in Plano, Texas that encourages community. Head instructor Diego Santo and Steve Trentham started as a competitor-coach duo. Together they aimed to create a new Jiu-Jitsu school that was inviting and emphasized the importance of self-improvement. Embracing Diego’s experiences with authentic Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Underground fosters a top-quality training program and community. Now, Diego strives to continue growing the academy and making the Underground community feel more and more like home.
